Saint Michael Medal
 HE
PRAYER CARDS are
individually made by me with prayerful care. They should be, because I originally
made them all for my own use. Now I share them with anyone who appreciates
them. I print each card in color on acid-free letterhead quality paper; I trim
the card by hand with torn, not cut, edges; finally, for the laminated cards,
I thermally laminate the card with clear protective plastic (10 mils) and then hand
trim it to final size. It takes much work to make just one card, and I sell each
card for about a tenth of what it costs me in labor and materials.
Although some orders can be
sent very quickly, in general please allow up to a week of production time before I can
ship your order.

Bookmark: The
Divine Praises / Prayer to the Holy Spirit
|
This bookmark-size prayer
card allows you to have these prayers accessible in any book you carry.
Pray the Divine Praises daily in reparation for all the abuses
inflicted on God by contemporary society. For private, personal use I have added praises
for the Resurrection and the Ascension and have made some minor adaptations to enhance
the overall psychological meaning of the praises.
On the back is my own Prayer to the Holy Spirit; pray it so that you, at least,
can grow in holiness despite what occurs in the world around you.

This adapted version makes the
psychological meaning of humility
more understandable for a contemporary reader. I have substituted simple, colloquial expressions
for archaic, formal expressions (e.g. “merciful” substituted for
“meek”; “falsely accused” substituted for “calumniated”;
etc.); I have reordered some items so that the overall context has a psychological
logic to it; and I have changed the last line to read “Though others will do what
they want, may my life be a radiant reflection of Your glory” (which is fitting
for those who live primarily among others who disdain holiness).

BRONZE MEDAL OF SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
1.5" diameter and made of
solid bronze.
When I made my own chaplet beads, I could not find a medal for it that I liked.
Through prayer, I had been told that Saint Michael preferred not to be depicted with
a physical sword because demons cannot be fought with physical weapons. (A flaming
sword, however, as I depict on my
Deliverance From the Tyranny of Evil prayer
booklet is fine. But a flaming sword is awkward to depict in sculpture.) Thus the design
of this medal was given to me. So, I had these medals factory made of solid bronze,
first for my own use, and second, to sell to anyone else who has a devotion to Saint
Michael and who wants to have an exceptional Chaplet of Saint Michael. (If you cannot
make your own chaplet, just buy one that you like and replace its medal with this one.)
